The MOYA Trombone Quartet is based in Geneva, Switzerland. Established in 2006,
It has performed in France, Hungary, Italy,Switzerland and Germany. Members of
the Group studied in Geneva under Andrea Bandini and in Lausanne under Michel
Bequet. MOYA's members are very active on the Orchestral music scene playing
regularly with the Suisse Romande Orchestra, the Rai of Turin Orchestra and the
Chamber Orchestra of Lausanne among others. MOYA has a large repertoire
covering many different époques and is equally adept at Ancient music on
sackbut’s as it is when playing classical, romantic, jazz, popular and
contemporary music. MOYA prides itself on its ability to produce tailor made
concerts with a repertoire finely adjusted to the venue and audience. MOYA is
an organisation that actively pursues new concert concepts like developing an
educational program for children to establish interest in classical music and
brass instruments in particular.
